I’m not sure what their situation is now… I’m kind of playing catch up. Then they came out with the BMCC and gave away a free version and Dongle for Resolve and with that Resolve had a huge number of new users of Resolve so that when you called BM they were overwhelmed and told you, “If you have any questions about Resolve direct them now to Creative Cow” The Studio Version seems to want a serial number before I can download it.ĭoes Blackmagic have a way you can look up my licensing information? I’m curious if I ever licensed my other Dongle (or if they ever required that before, I can’t remember).ĭoes Blackmagic have customer/tech support now? I remember when I bought my first version of Resolve that at that time when you called BMD you always got to talk to the same guy, I forgot his name. Can you still do that with the license download? Do new purchases of Resolve no longer have dongles? I liked the Dongle so I could transfer it to different workstations. Before I stick that serial number in I thought I’d ask here. The unused Dongle I have is in a DVD case with DVD that says “DaVinci Resolve” Mac OS X. I took a closer look at the downloads and now see they sell a “Studio” version for $295.
